Week 2: Grades (3-6) Handball Games (Grades K-2) Parachute Activities

Grades 3-6 will be playing small sided games of handball utilizing basic offensive strategies such as 1. the give and go, 2. V cuts, and 3. L cuts.  These different offensive movements can be used in a variety of games such as basketball, soccer, and hockey ect.  If the weather is nice I will be taking most of my classes outside for P.E. class since invasion games, such as handball, require a lot of space.

Grades K-2 will be participating in parachute activities such as parachute camping, ocean, and wash games.  The students will listen to different commands directed by myself and mimic different movements.  The entire class will also have to work as a group to perform the parachute activities.  Teamwork, listening skills, and communication are the main points being covered in class.
